Faithfulness

I don’t know about you, but I get deeply excited when God speaks to me—especially when He calls me by name. In 2022, while shoveling my driveway and seeking my purpose in God’s Kingdom, the Lord spoke so clearly: “Your purpose is to pray for a Worldwide Great Awakening.” My heart leapt. I told Him, “Lord, I can do that.”
Then in 2024, He spoke again: “Ask others to join you.” So I created the Collective Prayer Network website and Instagram page, hoping to gather believers who would cry out for revival. But the response was small, and I found myself asking the Lord, “What am I missing?”
In His kindness, He began to teach me. He led me to study the ministry of reconciliation, the Kingship of Jesus, forgiveness, the book of Zephaniah, the Blood of Jesus, and the attitude of a servant. I wrote that a servant’s heart is a life fully surrendered to God—humbled in posture, obedient in action, and overflowing with love, wisdom, and faith. Yet even with all of this, the results still seemed small.
But here is what I know: if God has declared that He will bring about a Worldwide Great Awakening, then nothing in hell can stop it. God always accomplishes what His heart desires. He does not delight in the death of the wicked. He has done everything necessary to make salvation accessible to mankind.
When I look at the world, I see confusion, division, and movements that trouble my heart. I don’t always understand why governments make the decisions they do. I don’t always understand why righteousness seems ignored and why money and power seem to speak louder than truth. But even in my confusion, I return to what God has spoken: He will have His way. And when I remember that, hope rises again.
I can almost see it—the light of God breaking into Minnesota, flowing into Canada, sweeping down through Texas and Mexico. Light branching out to the east and west coasts.
Every village, town, and city touched by the glory of God. People all over the world awakening to Christ, throwing off darkness, stepping into His love, His freedom, His truth. Hands lifted. Hearts surrendered. Voices praising the Father and thanking Jesus for bearing their sins.
Until the whole earth is filled with the glory of God as the waters cover the seas. All He asks of us is faithfulness. Keep our eyes on Christ Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
One way I stay focused is by joining the Every Home for Christ daily prayer watch. Each day they highlight a nation to pray for, and I ask God to send a Great Awakening there—one that ripples across the world. It’s free, simple, and powerful.
And when I feel like quitting, I remember Paul’s words to Timothy:
“You therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” —2 Timothy 2:1
God’s grace is enough. His grace will carry us. His grace will bring us to the day when we see His victory with our own eyes. Amen!
